Just got back from an absurdly early breakfast with a friend.. and being probed into thinking thoughts I would normally try to avoid, because they're negative in the view of the world. Somehow, this past period of time has shown that the world is detrimental; we are all pieces of the same puzzle unsolved, placed in wrong aspects at times, placed right but not held together, or placed right but removed in doubt. I think, even though times may be testing, life will present itself in the queerest of ways to you, no matter how deep your hole may be dug. There is always a reason to live, if not, there's always a reason not to die. We are human, there is always that little.. something. I don't know how big it may turn out to be, or how insignificant. But, there's always.. something.

Miracles happen every day.

Hey, and hey I've changed my blog layout again, but this time it's pretty much all my effort. I hope you guys like it! I got the idea when I was in the shower. Yea I know pretty much weird ideas at a weird time but whatever.

Anyway, not much updates to my life over here, except that I'm gonna be headed to Macau on Monday, for maybe a week or two? And that L and I have been taking turns to fall sick, I think it's just us passing the shuttlecock back and forth. Night At The Museum was pretty good, but Horsemen's ending was way too retarded to be considered clever. But Angels & Demons, oh boy, I loved it, and was struggling not to spoil the ending for L throughout the entire movie. Just removed my nail polish, and my nails feel strangely painful. Now, I'm off to do another layout!

After downloading Photoshop and a massive array of brushes, I experimented a little with pictures and such. It started with Lance wanting a new layout for his blog, and voila! Here we go, just like magic. It's sort of addictive, this Photoshop thing. I hereby dedicate myself with learning how to use it properly (not just this easy stuff) and apply that, too, to designing apparels. I foresee the start of a beautiful future, hoho!

May 19, my brother's birthday, and I have no idea what age he is turning. Bought him an iPod Touch, only to realize that it can surf the web and everything. Unfair! I should've bought one for myself, but then that will make a total of 4 iPods in this household. Here's his yummy chocolate cake from Bakerzin..

And, Lala in a hollow white cone. I hereby declare her, Conehead! She was itching so I brought her to A&E for pets, and the vet found out about her ear infection. So, the white shit is there to prevent her from scratching. I never found out what it was for until now!

Okay see you guys, I'm off!

Swollen red eye, plus flu and a little hint of cough.. and all the other stuff I can't mention. I think I caught the SWINE FLU! Saw face masks at the petrol kiosk today, am seriously considering buying them.. Anyway, I'm just here to leave a little note, nothing much these days to blog about, yeah boring life. Downloading Photoshop now to make L a new layout.. can't wait! I was inspired by blogskins.com and the amount of shit they have there. If you want a new layout you should go check it out. Yes I know it's been around long time, but hey, I'm a net bumpkin. Toodles!

Haha, so I changed my template again and the font's really really small, good luck to you if you want to read my entries! I thought this template was nicer, cause it's plain and simple and uncluttered with pictures. Hope you like it (except the font size of course)

I know I've been back for an absolutely long period of time, but here are my updates from Macau. The pictures have been rotting in my camera, until L found the darned cable, and I get around to uploading these. Lazy him + lazy me = no deadline.

The night before setting off to Macau, Yink and I went to a place I love so much, and ate.. foie gras! This is my second plate below, half-eaten and polished off later on. Oh crap I feel the craving for it coming on again..

Then, Nic and I jetted off to Macau, 'cause busy Lance was in Chutchut (or Tuktuk, forgot which it was) Land. I say, it was the land of misery. Macau, interestingly is a land of contradiction. Famed for its casinos, and it's churches. It's two extremes, my friend! But these buildings are so old, the architecture is beautiful, even though I'm not a church fella. My aunt says I need to pray much more than others, because I'm such a degenerate gambler.

That's a confession box, according to Nic, but I wonder who's inside and who's outside? The priest inside, sinner outside, or the other way around?

Guess what these things below are, and no, it's not an art installation. These were found at the base of the lighthouse.

Below is a really ancient library, but we weren't allowed to take photos. But I managed to sneak one picture in, even though it's a tad blur (okay scrape that, very blur) but you can generally see why it's such a rustic place, can you not?

Then it was partying at D2 with Merv and everybody else, where I got smashed, I have no clue how I ended up on the hotel room floor, with Nic, Steven and Jackson snoozing away. Must thank Steven for his wicked plans. But, D2 was great, because they played TRANCE! Hell yeah.

This was the only club I'd ever seen serve fresh veggies with their alcohol. It's good that some people are trying to keep even their puke healthy, I guess. That's crackers on the left, and, cucumbers in the middle, carrots on the right, and wasabi soya sauce to boot. Yum!

Koreans, by the way, really know how to party and let loose! Most of the time when you enter Singaporean clubs, you see everybody standing around and trying to look cool. But over in Macau, once you've hit one drink or two, your inhibitions are *poof* GONE! Then you party like Sunny over here..

Okay this dragon in the picture below was NOT in D2, it's Wynn's dragon, which Ghost and Ekin generously contributed through Baccarat. Let's cheer for them! Whoohoo! Next year, there'll be a baby dragon next to it.

Gays in action, look at that squint and horror!

Then after the storm which was the previous disheartening entries, L flew over, apologised and made everything better than before.. It's a long story though, but I'm just glad its over.

See that chandelier in the picture below? Well, it's not a real chandelier, it's just graphics on a huge-ass screen over the tree (which is real). It's amazing, isn't it! I only realized it, after it was still for such a long time, and it morphed into a visualization, kind of like those in iTunes? And I couldn't stop exclaiming to L, " NOT a real chandelier! AHHHH, amazing what money can do!"

One of my big wins in slots, when the gold coins start tumbling off the machine, it's a big win. But slots is so negative that you probably paid more than you should have for just this.. but I like Riches of the Amazon though, when you get to Macau you should try. Jackpot party!

Okay that's all for now.. longest post I've done in ages. See you!

Few days left in Macau..
for d'gen-ing and grinding.
Not that bad of a haul, Lance is up and so am I.
But not much, plus the money's leaking
faster than we can make it.. SIGH.
But I'm glad, I got my Channel,
and the fishes are slowly getting raped
in alphabetical order..
plus our random thoughts and random talks,
I think it pretty much completes my picture.

See you guys on Friday!

Blogging from the confines of Golden Dragon Hotel, the name a bit terok I know, but no choice, cos over here it's Labour Day. And so glad it's the sunshine after the storm. There's a fat Pokemon next to me lightning up his hair, and Pokerstars eating every cent. Gambling around every corner, China men and women talking at the top of their lungs, as though they're always mad at something. Love the life!

Prologue
ANTHEA
15/10/1989, into fast cars, black/silver/grey, good foie gras, poker, a degenerate gambler. Hooked on appealing visuals and in love with the world's most retarded poker player, Lance.
